Single tickets for the Wichita Symphony Orchestra’s 2012-2013 season go on sale at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The symphony’s lineup includes a Simon and Garfunkel retrospective, as well as classical, Pops and Blue Jeans concerts.
The season opens Oct. 6 with a concert featuring Broadway veterans Robert Evan, Capathia Jenkins, Doug LaBrecque and Christiane Noll accompanying symphony members as they play Broadways hits from “The Lion King,” “Wicked” and “Rent.”
Tickets are available for purchase online at www.wso.org or by calling the box office at 316-267-7658. They’re also available at the symphony box office in Century II, 225 W. Douglas. The box office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Tickets also are available in person an hour before performances.
