Nearly Deads are the Orpheum’s next Emerging Artists

The Nearly Deads, an on-the-rise alternative rock band from Nashville with a lead singer, Theresa Jeane, who was born and raised in Wichita, will be the next performers in the Orpheum Theatre’s Emerging Artist Series. The group, which just landed a spot on the annual Vans Warped Tour, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the theater, 200 N. Broadway. The group also will perform an acoustic set and greet fans at Scholfield Honda, 7017 E. Kellogg, at noon on Friday, when the dealership will serve free pizza and give away tickets to the show. Admission to that event is free. Tickets to Saturday’s show are $15 and are available at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, by calling 316-755-7328 or by visiting www.selectaseat.com.
