Girls’ Day Out at Century II
It’s time for Girls’ Day Out. Century II Exhibition Hall, 225 W. Douglas, will host the event, which will include more than 100 exhibitors. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Highlights include fashion boutiques, dance lessons, wine tastings, makeovers, massages, shopping and food. Admission is $6. Book signing in Andover
Former KSN meteorologist Mark Bogner will be at Ace Hardware in Andover, 642 N. Andover Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to give a presentation and sign copies of his new book, “A Year of Kansas Weather.” The book contains Bogner’s observations in his 23 years of forecasting Kansas’ four distinct seasons. The event is free and open to the public.

Mentalist at Cowtown
Mentalist Curtis Waltermire will perform his “Think Again: An Evening of Uncertainty” show at Empire House Theater in Old Cowtown Museum, 1865 W.
