Two musicals at local high schools get into Halloween spirit

A couple of local high school are getting into the Halloween spirit with their musical stage productions. West High School at 820 S. Osage will open “Little Shop of Horrors” on Thursday, featuring alum and Broadway star Karla Burns as the voice of Audrey II. The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and at 1 p.m. Oct. 26. Admission is $3 for students and $5 for adults. And Northeast Magnet High School at 5550 S. Lycee will put on “Young Frankenstein” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Oct. 25 and at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Admission is $6 for students and $8 for adults.
