Monkey Butt Poker Run at the zoo

Sedgwick County Zoo is hosting its Monkey Butt Poker Run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the zoo, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd., followed by an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. The 110-mile ride begins at 10 a.m. with stops in Douglass, Leon, Andover and Park City. The caravan will return to the zoo at 2 p.m. Register at for $20 or $25 on Saturday. Registration includes breakfast, a poker card and a T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Passengers ride free. Additional poker cards, shirts or meals cost extra. Tanganyika’s Pumpkins at the Park

Tanganyika’s Pumpkins at the Park is a family-friendly event that includes a lighted pumpkin trail, inflatables, a haunted hay ride, a cage maze, a 3-D haunted house and more. It runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Oct. 25-27 at the park, 1000 S. Hawkins Lane. Admission is $10 a person, and proceeds go to caring for the animals during the winter. Haysville’s Fall Festival

Haysville’s 29th annual Fall Festival runs from 6 to midnight Friday, 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 8 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Riggs Park.
