"Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space"

In this holiday spin-off of the hit movie, when mutant pumpkins try to take over Earth on Halloween, the Monsters must combat the gourds and try to end their wicked scheme. Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett and Rainn Wilson reprise their voice roles from the film. 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC and KSNW, Channel 3.

MLB Baseball

Boys of November, anyone? That's what viewers will be treated to this year with the 105th World Series, which gets under way tonight from New York, as the Yankees take on the Philadelphia Phillies. The World Baseball Classic in March pushed the regular and postseasons back a few days, thus guaranteeing baseball in the month of Thanksgiving and potentially after Election Day. The only other time that happened was 2001, when the Sept. 11 attacks pushed the Fall Classic to Nov. 4. 6:30 p.m., Fox and KSAS, Channel 4/24.
