A chance to win a car book

From time to time, publishers send me review copies of their new automotive books. And it’s time to clear some bookshelf space in the old home office.
So I am going to give away one copy each of the two most recent books to land on my desk, "Rockin Garages" by Tom Cotter and Ken Gross, and "History’s Greatest Automotive Mysteries Myths and Rumors Revealed" by Preston Lerner and Matt Stone. Both books are published by Quayside Publishing Group Motorbooks and would make good cabin-fever Christmas gifts for car hobbyists.
But you’re going to have to earn these books.
To win "Rockin Garages," which features the cars, motorcycles and garages of famous rock/country musicians, take a look at the accompanying photo. The first person to email me with the correct identification of the framework of my new, homemade office clock will get the book.
For the automotive mysteries and myths book, the first person to correctly name the first American-made automobile engine to produce at least one horsepower per cubic inch of displacement gets the book thrown at them. There is some controversy about this, but the decision of the judges (me) will be final.
This will also be a first e-mail deal, since it allows me to track exactly when the winning entry arrives. Send your responses to: email@example.com. No phone calls or snail mail entries.
Good luck, and please, folks, let’s do this in the spirit of fun and the holiday season.
