FSA county elections start today

Election of members for the Farm Service Agency's county committees begins today and continues through Dec. 7.

Eligible voters are farmers and ranchers who participate or cooperate in an FSA program. Nominations were conducted last summer.

County committees provide a link between local agricultural communities and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Eligible voters who have not received a ballot may obtain one from a local USDA Service Center.
