InvestMidwest Venture Capital Forum is seeking Wichita-area companies to apply for the event, set for March 24-25 in St. Louis.

The event matches leaders of startup technology and bioscience companies with venture capitalists from across the country.

To participate, entrepreneurs are asked to submit an early application to pitch their business plans to investors. The early application deadline is Nov. 13.

Christine Walsh, InvestMidwest executive director, said she expects to receive nearly 100 applications from entrepreneurs for about 45 presentation slots.

Last year, 43 companies with the potential to generate at least $20 million in annual revenue in five years presented at InvestMidwest.
