CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Sixty-one Wichita city leaders will get their first look today at how Chattanooga, Tenn., officials revitalized their downtown.
The first day of the three-day Visioneering Wichita trip to Chattanooga will focus on how the community leveraged publicly funded infrastructure improvements into private sector business investments.
Jeff Pfitzer, director of special projects for the RiverCity Company, Chattanooga's downtown development arm, will be the lead speaker during a 3 p.m. session at the Electric Power Board boardroom.
The day also includes walking tours of the city's river front and a guided bus tour of the downtown area, including the Ross Landing Plaza, the Tennessee Aquarium and One Broad Street.
