Wichita industry represented at show

Wichita's general aviation manufacturers will be exhibiting at the Dubai Airshow, which opens Sunday.

Hawker Beechcraft will have a chalet and display five models of its aircraft at the show.

Professional golfer and Hawker 4000 owner Sergio Garcia will be at Hawker Beechcraft's chalet, meeting with customers and prospects.

"The Dubai Airshow is a good opportunity to interact with our growing list of customers from the region," Sean McGeough, Hawker Beechcraft's vice president for international sales, said in a statement.

Cessna Aircraft will have a chalet and airplanes on display. Its senior leaders will attend.

The company will support its authorized sales representatives at the show, said Cessna spokesman Doug Oliver.

Bombardier Aerospace also will be an exhibitor.
