Scientists to legislative panel: Fracking isn’t cause of Kansas earthquakes

Increased waste from increased oil and gas production appears to be linked to the earthquakes that have rattled south-central Kansas in recent years, but “fracking” is not the culprit, state scientists told a legislative committee Monday.
