U.S. Supreme Court wrestles with legal aftermath of Carr brothers murders

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday seemed to indicate it was unlikely to rule in favor of three men who challenged their Kansas death sentences – including two brothers convicted in a Wichita case that one justice called “some of the most horrendous murders” he has ever seen.

Defend change to WSU chapel

Wichita State University had it right in May, when it made changes in the campus chapel to give Muslim students a proper place to kneel and pray. What’s disappointing is that WSU administrators are now re-examining the accommodation in response to criticism.
