AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani says it's likely David Beckham will join the club on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy again in January.
"It's very probable that Beckham will come to Milan on loan until June 30, but I don't consider anything done until there's a signature," Galliani said at a meeting in Monaco on Monday, according to the ANSA news agency.
Tim Leiweke, the chief executive of Anschutz Entertainment Group, which owns the Galaxy, said last week he wants the deal for Beckham's return to Milan to be completed within two weeks.

VOLLEYBALL
The Big 12 Conference says it has addressed Nebraska's concerns about the volleyball environment at Oklahoma and considers the matter closed.
Nebraska coach John Cook complained last week about excessive heckling by Oklahoma fans during a Sept. 30 match. Cook said Nebraska servers were taunted viciously from extremely close proximity.
There was a change in arena setup for last week's Iowa State match in Norman, Okla. Students were not allowed to sit in the front row, as they were during the Nebraska match.
FOOTBALL
Despite suffering a sprained right ankle in Thursday's loss to Nebraska, Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert should start in Saturday's matchup at Oklahoma State.
Head coach Gary Pinkel said Monday that Gabbert and cornerback Carl Gettis have ankle sprains, but that they are "probable."
Gabbert was hurt in the first quarter after being sacked by Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh but finished the game, which Nebraska won 27-12. But all indications are that he'll take the field for the Tigers in Stillwater on Saturday.
BASEBALL
Larry Jansen, the winning pitcher for the New York Giants in the 1951 playoff game decided by Bobby Thomson's "Shot Heard 'Round the World," has died. He was 89.
The San Francisco Giants said Jansen died at his home in Oregon on Saturday.
Jansen spent nine years in the major leagues, making his biggest mark with the Giants during their pennant-winning season. He won 23 games in 1951, including one of the biggest in team — and baseball — history.
Jansen, in relief of Sal Maglie, struck out two batters in the top of the ninth before the Giants rallied with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 5-4 in the third and deciding playoff game.
