TOPEKA, Kan. - The 25-14 vote Wednesday by which the Senate failed to override Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' veto of an abortion bill.
Of the 30 Republicans, 22 voted "yes," seven voted "no," and one was absent.
Of the 10 Democrats, 3 voted "yes," and seven voted "no."
Supporters of the bill needed a two-thirds majority, or 27 votes
