Another lawsuit filed against Dennis Rader
The father of BTK murder victim Kathryn Bright on Thursday joined a growing list of victims' survivors who have sued confessed serial killer Dennis Rader.
Charles W. Bright said in the wrongful death lawsuit that his daughter endured extreme pain and suffering when she was stabbed to death by Rader on April 4, 1974.
Bright's lawyer, Mark Hutton, said the lawsuit was filed with the intent to prevent Rader from profiting from any books or movies that result from his notoriety.
Five other lawsuits have been filed against Rader by relatives of BTK victims, including one by Kevin Bright, who was injured in Rader's 1974 attack on his sister.
