Music festival to be held outside National Life

— Vermont's National Life Insurance Company is going to be hosting five bands that will perform during a day-long festival outside the organization's Montpelier headquarters.

The music festival on July 19 will also feature food and family activities

The "Do Good Fest" is free and open to the public.

There will be a $20 parking fee per car with the proceeds benefiting Branches of Hope — the cancer patient fund at Central Vermont Medical Center's National Life Cancer Treatment Center.

There will be food trucks serving everything from Asian cuisine to southern barbecue. There will be face painting and other activities.

The rain-or-shine event runs from 1-9 p.m.
