Wichita Griots holding Cultural Arts Camp

The Wichita Griots, a cultural arts organization, is holding their annual Cultural Arts Camp for children through Saturday.

The camp is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at North Heights Christian Church, 3030 N. Hillside. Participants ages 6 to 16 learn the art of African drumming, sign language, song, African and creative dance, visual art, recitation and stage-craft.

The week culminates in a full-scale musical with dance and song on Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club, 2400 Opportunity Drive.
