Two men robbed a Dollar General store in south Wichita on Wednesday night, police said.

The robbers entered the Dollar General at 221 W. 47th St. South shortly before 8 p.m., Capt. Doug Nolte said. That’s just west of Broadway.

One of the men pointed a handgun at four women in the store while the second took about $200 from cash registers, Nolte said. A 27-year-old woman also had personal property taken from her.

The two men then left the area on foot. The victims told police that each man covered his face with a shirt-like cloth that had eye holes cut in it, Nolte said.

One of the suspects is 28, the other 30. The younger suspect is about 5 feet, 8 inches and 150 pounds. He was carrying a black handgun.

The second suspect is about 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black ball cap.
