Shane McConaughey at Live at 215

Spend the Fourth with Texas-born comedian Shane McConaughey. His three-night stint at the Live at 215, 215 N. St. Francis, continues Friday and Saturday. Showtimes for the 21-and-over show are 7:30 p.m. Friday; and 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday. Tickets for the Thursday show are $8; all others are $12. McAdams Park festival

The Teenage Area Recreation Program is having a Reunion Dance Festival at 6 p.m. Saturday at McAdams Park, 1329 E. 16th. The event includes a dance contest, refreshments and a photo booth. Admission is $10, with proceeds going toward the funding of passes for students to participate in academic and recreational activities at McAdams Park. For more information, call 316-682-1874.

Fine Art for the Wine Heart

Let out your inner Monet at Fine Art for the Wine Heart. Receive step-by-step guidance as you paint your own version of Pink Water Lilies. The 21-and-over class is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wichita Center for the Arts, 9112 E. Central. The Center for the Arts will provide art supplies and wine glasses; you bring your own beverage. Tuition is $35 for members, $45 for everyone else. Visit www.wcfta.com to enroll.
