It’ll feel more like early May than early July for the next few days in the Wichita area.

Highs will be in the low 80s Wednesday and Thursday under sunny skies, forecasters say. Winds will be light and variable over the next couple of days, staying in the single digits.

Dry weather and plenty of sunshine will continue through the weekend, forecasters say, with highs in the upper 80s on Independence Day and the low 90s over the weekend.
