Wow – great decisions in the past two weeks by the Supreme Court. The do-gooder Obama pundits must be lined up at the top of the cliff.

So, because of the Hobby Lobby owners’ religious beliefs, the company can keep women employees from obtaining birth control through their insurance. What happened to separation of state and church? I hope Hobby Lobby is also going to ban Viagra to make all things fair.

If the owners of Hobby Lobby are such pious defenders of the faith, why do they sell items made in China, a country famous for its religious oppression?

Time and again, the courts have told Obama he’s in violation of the Constitution, yet he continues to ignore the courts and the Constitution to get his own way. How can he be so blatantly arrogant?

The only reason Republicans have restrained themselves against impeaching Obama is because the nation would then get – Joe Biden.

The statistics on the use of presidential executive privilege show Reagan at 381; Clinton, 364; George W. Bush, 291; Obama, 182 to date. I think the president, plagued by the most do-nothing Congress in history, shows remarkable restraint.

Executive order we will never see: All federal government employees, elected or employed, are placed on Obamacare or, if 65 years of age, on Medicare. You wouldn’t need a mike to hear the screams.

Robert McDonald, the former CEO of Procter and Gamble, has been selected to try to clean up the VA mess. Going from P&G to the VA will be like switching from California Chrome to Mr. Ed.

Monday was Alan Mulally’s last day at Ford. If the Boeing board has any sense of returning the company to its previous greatness, it should hire him.

It is a sad day for the families in Country Acres in west Wichita because they are tearing out the swimming pool that many used to enjoy. Swim teams, lessons and fun times are all history. Oh, and how much are we spending to rename the airport?

If our City Council included an expanded version of Joyland in its 1-cent sales tax, it would have more chance of passing. Wichita lacks wholesome family entertainment.

I wish for a water park for the defunct Wichita Greyhound Park. It’s an ideal location just off the interstate, it comes with its own parking lot, and the area needs it. Voila, no more eyesore.
