There may be a few showers left in the Wichita area Tuesday morning following a rainy night, forecasters say.

Showers should be through the area by early afternoon, when highs will peak in the mid-80s under mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be light and variable.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s, with clouds lingering. Wednesday should be quite pleasant for early July, forecasters say, with highs in the low 80s under sunny skies. Northerly winds will occasionally touch double digits.

Thursday is also shaping up to be very pleasant, forecasters say, with sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.
