A Walton man was injured Saturday evening when his vehicle went off the road and overturned.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Joshua Esau, 30, was driving a 2001 pickup south on Burmac Road about two miles south of Burrton at about 8:30 p.m. when it drifted off the right side of the road. He overcorrected, and the truck went into the ditch and flipped. Esau was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Esau was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis.
