A Wichita woman is in critical condition after being struck in what law enforcement officials say was a domestic argument.

Deputies with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the 4500 block of South Hemlock at about 2:26 a.m. Saturday on a report of a person pinned under a vehicle, according to a Sedgwick County news release. A 37-year-old woman was found under a pickup truck and transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Chester Randall Jr. of Wichita was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Randall, 40, is being held in the Sedgwick County Detention Facility. Detectives plan to present their case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office this week.
