Man critical after stabbing on South St. Francis

Wichita police are investigating a stabbing Saturday afternoon that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.

Shortly before 1 p.m., a man in his 50s sustained two stab wounds in the 1600 block of South St. Francis, a dispatcher said. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis.

No other information about the incident was immediately available.
