Police looking for motorcyclist as part of accident investigation

Police are looking for the driver of a second motorcycle seen with another motorcycle that crashed Thursday.

A 36-year-old man remains in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center after crashing his yellow Honda motorcycle just north of Kellogg on Greenwich Road about 5:30 p.m. The man was one of two motorcycle drivers headed north on Greenwich at a high rate of speed, according to witnesses. The man lost control of his vehicle and struck a curb and mailbox.

The other driver, riding a new, red sportsbike with black wheels and trim, left the scene and was last seen heading south on Greenwich.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call detectives at 316-268-4136 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
