A 23-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, the baby’s parents, were arrested at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment and aggravated battery shortly after noon on Saturday, according to arrest records.

The 4-month-old boy was brought to St. Francis with bleeding on the brain and several other injuries. He was placed in the pediatric intensive care unit and also placed in protective custody by police.
