ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is looking for local families willing to host high-school-aged children from other countries.

The students, both boys and girls, will be between the ages of 15 and 18 and are interested in learning about American culture, as well as sharing their own, ASSE said in a news release.

Students will have spending money to cover personal expenses and have full health, accident and liability insurance, ASSE said. Students are selected for the program based on academics and host families can choose teens from a variety of countries and backgrounds.

For more information on ASSE or to host an international student, call Leigh Walker at 316-518-8570 or e-mail leighwalker15@yahoo.com.
