All Paws dog washes to benefit SCART

The Sedgwick County Animal Response Team and All Paws Pet Centers are holding a Triple Dirty Dog Dare dog wash benefit on June 21.

For a $20 donation, you can get your pup washed while supporting SCART, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the survival and welfare of animals during natural and man-made disasters.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Paws east, 2250 N. Rock Road, No. 110; All Paws west, 1444 N. Maize Road; and All Paws Derby, 1821 E. Madison in Derby. The three stores will compete to see which can raise the most money.

Volunteers from SCART and the American Red Cross, as well as representatives of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, will share information and answer questions on how to prepare pets for disaster.
