Wichita police are looking for three men who punched a 16-year-old male carhop at Sonic Drive-In, 2313 W. Pawnee, before taking their food and running on Monday night, Lt. Dan East said Tuesday.

At 10:20 p.m. Monday the men, who had ordered from a car stall, assaulted the employee and ran south along St. Clair, near Meridian.

The employee sustained “very minor” injuries to his face, East said.

The food taken was valued at $38.99, according to a Wichita police report.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call detectives at 316-268-4171 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
