Sedgwick County residents can get rid of paint, batteries, aerosol products, lawn and garden chemicals, household cleaners, fluorescent light bulbs and more for free Saturday.

The county’s household hazardous waste program is sponsoring a remote collection site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Beechcraft Parking Lot E at 10059 E. Central in Wichita.

The collection site is for individuals only and not for tires, electronics, ammunition, explosives, empty containers and controlled substances.
