— Rapper Sir Mix-A-Lot appeared on stage with the Seattle Symphony over the weekend -- along with a large group of gyrating, butt-shaking women.

The concert at Benaroya Hall, according to the Seattle Times, was part of the symphony’s Sonic Evolution project, which tries to bring classical music and pop music together.

In addition to writing a new composition inspired by Seattle's own Sir Mix-A-Lot, composer Gabriel Prokofiev orchestrated two of the legendary rapper's most famous hits for Friday's concert, including "Baby Got Back," for which Sir Mix-A-Lot joined conductor Ludovic Morlot and the orchestra on stage.
