Westlake, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - For the second straight day there is a tie atop the leaderboard at the Cleveland Open as Mathew Goggin and Whee Kim share a 1-shot lead at 11-under-par 202 after three rounds.
Goggin (69), who held the lead throughout most of the day Saturday, made double-bogey on No. 17, dropping from 13-under to 11-under, where he currently stands. Kim fired a third-round 68 at Lakewood Country Club to move into a tie for first.
Jeff Curl entered the day tied for the lead with Goggin, and birdies on 13, 16 and 17 briefly put him in the outright lead at 12-under. However, a double- bogey on No. 18 dropped Curl (70) into a tie for third at 10-under.
Also joining Curl at 10-under-par 203 are Ryan Armour and Jason Gore, who both 66 in the third round.
Dawie van der Walt (65) and Jon Curran (67) are just two shots back of the lead at 9-under 204.
Steven Alker (65) and Aaron Watkins (70) are still very much in contention at 8-under 205, just three shots back of the lead. A total of eight players are tied for 10th at 7-under 206.
