Festival food

Chicken and waffles

Three out of four stars

Chicken and Waffles

Where is it? Silvey Concession, WaterWalk food court

What is it? Tender chicken nuggets are piled in a crisp waffle cone, sweetened with a generous portion of powdered sugar and served with a side of strong maple syrup. The chicken is coated in such a fluffly breading, and the sugar, syrup and cone are a nice complement for every bite. It’s one of the more expensive items on the menu but its taste and portion size is satisfying.

How much is it? $7

Nassim Benchaabane
