Man arrested in connection with stabbing

An argument between two men early Saturday morning in the 800 block of South Terrace ended with a 46-year-old man being stabbed in the shoulder, police said.

Police arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated battery, said Sgt. John Hoofer.

The stabbing was reported at 6:40 a.m., northwest of Oliver and Lincoln. The victim went to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
