Two adults and five children were involved in a rollover accident in Greenwood County on Monday afternoon.

The group was traveling west on U.S. 54 in a 2008 Grand Caravan when the right rear tire failed and the driver lost control. The van veered off the west side of the road, went into the ditch and overturned, according to a report by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The accident occured about 3:20 p.m. eight miles east of Eureka.

In the van were Crystal McMahon, 27, and Randon Shelinbarger, 29, both of Wichita, and five children ranging in age from 10 years to 3 1/2 months.

The report shows the seven were taken to Greenwood County Hospital for treatment of possible injuries, but the hospital would not release any information about their conditions.

All were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
