A 85-year-old man in a wheelchair was robbed of his wallet and cash after a pair of armed robbers reportedly entered his home Friday morning, Wichita police said.

The elderly man told officers that the men ordered him to not move when they came into his residence in the 1900 block of North Grove around 7 a.m., Sgt. John Ryan said Sunday. The robbers then stole the man’s wallet and fled in what was described as a “pretty beat-up” car.

Ryan said Sunday no arrests had been made in connection with the case. The elderly man was apparently unharmed.

The 85-year-old told police officers that he did not know the two men, Ryan said.
