Wild rallies for win at Dodge City

Rocky Hinds threw three touchdown passes and Tywon Hubbard ran for two more as the Wild overcame a rocky second quarter and beat the Law 47-38 on Saturday night in Dodge City.

Wichita threw an interception and missed two field goals in the second quarter and allowed Dodge City to score 28 consecutive points. A 20-yard TD pass from Hind to Joe Kassanavoid with six seconds left in the quarter let the Wild pull within 28-21 at halftime.

The teams traded third-quarter touchdowns, then Dan Kontz kicked a field goal late in the period to make it 35-31.

The Wild took control with a TD run by Hubbard and scoring pass from Hinds to Jarrel Kelly, going ahead 44-35 with 8:35 left in the game.

Dodge City was able to run the ball effectively, amassing 143 yards on the ground. Joshua Floyd had 19 carries for 88 yards and three touchdowns.
