It is also sponsored by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. The clinic is for kids 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult. All equipment is furnished and volunteers help the children.

Fishing sessions last a half-hour and run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registrations forms are published in The Eagle and are available at the newspaper’s front counter at 825 E. Douglas.

The fishing clinic is free, after a $2 admission charge to the Walk with Wildlife. For more information, call 316-268-6240 or e-mail psmith@wichitaeagle.com.
