Thieves broke into Starkey Music Center in northwest Wichita early Saturday and stole instruments and other items, according to Wichita police.

Sgt. John Hoofer said officers were called to the music store, 1318 W. 18th St., at about 5:50 a.m. Saturday. A window was broken out and an unknown number of items missing, he said.

So far there are no suspects in the burglary and no estimate on the value of the stolen items, he said.
