MVC Roundup: Dallas Baptist, Missouri State win

Dallas Baptist 6, Bradley 5 — Third-seeded Dallas Baptist remained unbeaten by winning a game delayed by Wednesday’s threat of weather. Patriots closer Brandon Koch held seventh-seeded Bradley to one hit over 2 2/3 innings to preserve the one-run margin. Drew Turbin and Daniel Salters homered for Dallas Baptist.

Missouri State 7, Bradley 2 — Sixth-seeded Missouri State eliminated the Braves, striking for five runs in the seventh inning. Alex Jefferson singled and Dylan Becker doubled in the seventh, both driving in two runs. Bears reliever Jake Powers struck out eight in 3 2/3 hitless innings.
