City of Wichita offers free paint to some Wichita residents

Wichita is offering up to $250 in free paint for residents who meet financial guidelines and whose property is in certain areas.

The main area’s boundaries are I-235, Pawnee, 25th North and Hillside. Also included are the Neighborhood Revitalization Area and local investment areas, such as the Hilltop and Planeview neighborhoods.

Income limits are $36,900 for a single-person household and $52,700 for a four-person household.

The program ends Sept. 19.
