The town of Lindsborg is having a “School’s Out” party.

Better yet, it is a communitywide water fight from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 30 in Swensson Park.

It’s bring your own water gun. No water balloons allowed. And bring your own lawn chairs.

There will be a few designated dry zones where onlookers can sit and watch the water fight without getting wet. There will also be water refueling stations.

In addition, participants are asked to bring a lemon-inspired food item to share in a community “potluck” dinner.

The event is the first in a summerlong series called “Front Porch Fridays,” held the last Friday of every month. The events are sponsored by the Lindsborg Convention and Visitors Bureau.
