Man tells police he was cut while breaking up fight at party

A 44-year-old man walked into the emergency room at Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph at 12:25 a.m. Sunday with a deep laceration to his left forearm.

He told police he had been at a party at Wilma and Terrace, near Harry and Oliver, when a fight broke out and he tried to stop the fight, according to Sgt. Ed Brower,spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The man was treated for his injuries and released.

Police were unable to locate a crime scene.
