Claire the Goofball, an 8-year-old female pug-beagle mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Think I’m cute? That’s mighty sweet of you. I’m just your average happy-go-lucky pup who enjoys going on walks and meeting new people. Speaking of people, I’m particularly curious about you. I look forward to meeting you at KHS soon.

Also available:

• Tucker the Goofball, 9-year-old male Labrador retriever mix

I’m the kind of dog that is always happy, no matter what. I love being around people, especially kids. I love going for walks and car rides. I hope I’ll be able to earn your trust and be the perfect, lovable companion that you and your family want. Come see me at KHS today.

• Paula the Personal Assistant, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

I’m a lot more than just a pretty face. I’m a wonderful cat, too. I’d love to be involved in whatever you are doing. I can even help with activities around the house. Don’t you think it’d be more fun that way? And when we’re done, we can take a cat nap together. Come to KHS soon so we can get started.

• Kirk, 2-month-old male kitten, domestic medium-hair mix

Hello to all of you out there: My name is Kirk. I have the cutest face and softest fur, and the best part is, you can pet me whenever you’d like. We could play with string all day and then I’d cuddle up next to you at night. Sounds like fun to me. I can’t wait to see you at KHS.

• Bart the Sidekick, 2-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

Don’t you think I’m a handsome fellow? That could be because I have a beautiful, solid snow-white coat. You’ll always know where to find me. Come to KHS today so I can shower you with purrs and love.
