Police are seeking help from the public in identifying thieves who stole jewelry on display at the Hyatt Regency Wichita earlier this week.

The suspects were allowed to use the restroom in the downtown hotel and then found an open door and stole jewelry that was on display by a vendor, Capt. Doug Nolte said.

The theft occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nolte said. Two suspects are being sought in the case.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact the burglary section of the police department at 316-268-4141.
