Tyler Boss, Casey McMillan and Jason Seaton have each been promoted to the position of manager in the audit department of BKD. Jon Garrett has been promoted to manager in the tax department of BKD.

Daniel White has joined Allen, Gibbs & Houlik as an organizational development consultant.

Architecture

Ivan Veldhuizen, project manager at GLMV Architecture, has earned the Green Globes Professional Certification.

Banking

Carson Bank in Mulvane has announced that Frank L. Carson IV has been promoted to executive vice president. Beckie J. Bowers has been promoted to vice president at the bank.

Bryan Barrett has joined Southwest National Bank as a consumer loan officer.

Kenneth Klosterman has been promoted to assistant vice president, senior credit analyst at Bank SNB.

Patrick Ritchie, commercial loan officer for Bank SNB, has completed the 2014 School of Banking Fundamentals.

Cheryl Duerksen and Owen Kendall have each been promoted to bank officer at First Bank of Newton.

Financial

April Woodman has been promoted to financial planning assistant with the Stoutheart Financial Group, the practice of Richard Campbell, private wealth adviser for Ameriprise Financial Services.

Richard Campbell, private wealth adviser for Ameriprise Financial Services, has earned membership in the company’s Hall of Fame.

Health Care

Patricia Reimer, a registered nurse, has joined Prairie View as nurse manager for partial hospital services on the practice’s Newton campus.

Physicians Donna Ewy, Joe W. Luinstra and Timothy Wiens and nurse practitioner Abigail Reinhardt, all of Newton Via Christi Clinic, are now certified medical examiners for the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The certification means the doctors have the credentials to perform physical exams for commercial motor vehicle drivers.

Insurance
