Former Sen. Bob Dole has firmed up his schedule for another visit to his home state of Kansas, this time including specific venues and places.
The trip will include a visit to Wichita on May 14. Dole will visit Wichita State Universitys Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th St. North, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
All visits are open to the public, his office said.
Im looking forward to returning to Kansas for the second time this spring, Dole said in a statement. I hope to see friends and former supporters of mine, and I am looking forward to enjoying more cookies along the way preferably oatmeal raisin and chocolate.
Dole visited several Kansas cities, including Lawrence, last month.
