Starship with Mickey Thomas to perform at Orpheum Theatre

Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, the singer who performed the vocal tracks for many 1980s hits including “We Built This City,” will perform at the Orpheum Theatre, 200 N. Broadway, on June 29.

Thomas joined the band, then called Jefferson Starship, in 1979. He also sang on the hits “Jane,” “Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now” and “Sara.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and will be $59, $55 and $49. They’ll be available at Select-a-Seat outlets, at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, by calling 316-755-SEAT or at www.selectaseat.com.
